Training ground

The training ground of FC Dinamo Tbilisi was opened in 1940 The ground used to satisfy all the international standards of that time. Three stories administrative and lodging building is spanned on the territory of 1651 square meters. Building is surrounded with trees and flowers, which makes it cosy and attractive.

The building is priceless for Georgian football. A number of generations of brilliant Georgian players have been raised there: Chivadze, Shengelia, Daraselia, Sulakvelidze. Young generation of players are scattered around Europe: Kobiashvili, Kaladze, Kinkladze, Nemsadze, Jamarauli, Ketsbaia, Iashvili, Kavelashvili, Arveladze brothers and many more.

On the territory of the base there are two standard size grass football fields and one standard size artificial field. Besides there are two mini football pitches and gym, equipped with contemporary trainers. On the territory of the base there is a sauna, jakuzzi, chamber for underwater massage, swimming pool and a recreation room. There are 20 rooms for two persons especially for the football players. Light systems are installed, therefore it is possible to conduct sports activities during the night time as well. The grass coating and drainage on the practice fields have been upgraded recently.

Georgian national team has been using the base due to its conveniences. Spanish, Dutch and Portuguese journalists were overwhelmed by the base. They visited it during the UEFA CUP games, when "Athletic", "Braga" and 'Willem II" came to Georgia.

The base was old and it needed reconstruction. In 2001 it was thoroughly renewed. Tens of personnel are maintaining the ideal condition of the base. In terms of accessories and practice conditions "Dinamo" practice ground is number one in Georgia.
